The GenACNH Engineering Team is proud to announce the immediate deployment of our Universal Mobile Multi-Language Engine & Brand Harmonization Release! Over the past several weeks, our engineering team has been tracking how residents explore GenACNH across smartphones, tablets, handheld browsers, and the embedded NookPhone OS web apps. Today, we are bringing complete multilingual parity, anti-flicker preloading, brand token shielding, and state initialization stability to every corner of our island ecosystem.

1. Universal Multi-Language Support Across All 27 Mobile Pages

Previously, several informational, boarding, and legal pages relied on late body scripts or lacked language detection, which could cause mobile phones and NookPhone OS webviews to fall back to English. With our newly architected lang_head.php engine injected directly into the document , all 27 user-facing pages now feature immediate multi-language detection:

2. Brand Identity Protection & Critical Token Shielding

Machine translation tools can sometimes mistakenly translate game codes, bot handles, and technical identifiers into foreign dictionary words. We have hardened the entire frontend with strict notranslate and translate="no" boundaries:

  • 🦤 5-Character Airport Dodo Codes: Dodo Codes (e.g. K8F9M) on island boarding cards and live flight passes are strictly shielded so players never receive altered letters.
  • 🎫 Support Ticket Numbers: Reference codes like #TICK-2026-XXXX maintain their exact alphanumeric characters across staff messages and user discussions.
  • 🤖 Bot & App Identifiers: Automated order spawner names, Discord bot handles, and hex hash payloads remain completely intact without translation corruption.

3. Zero-Flicker Screen Cloak & NookPhone OS Iframe Auto-Trigger

On mobile connections, seeing a split-second flash of raw English text before translation completes is disruptive. Our anti-flicker cloak resolves this completely:

  • ⚡ Instant Inline Head Execution: Before the HTML body is rendered or painted, the head script immediately cloaks the canvas with our signature dark island background (#06131a).
  • ✨ Smooth Opacity Fade-In: As soon as translation elements mount (typically under 100ms), the cloak releases and smoothly transitions into full visibility with zero jarring layout shifts.
  • 📲 NookPhone OS Iframe Bridging: When opening islands or support tickets inside NookPhone OS webviews, query parameters pass &lang= automatically, and an auto-trigger listener monitors the translation combo to ensure child iframes translate without requiring manual user clicks.

4. Catalog Sorting & State Initialization Fix

During early page loading on dashboard.php, preloading the multi-language catalog dictionary previously triggered sorting before the catalog state had fully evaluated, resulting in a ReferenceError: Cannot access 'currentCatalogSort' before initialization.

  • 🏗️ Elevated State Declarations: Core sort variables are now hoisted and initialized in the primary UI state alongside active filters.
  • 🛡️ DOM Mount Verification: Catalog translation functions now verify the DOM grid container is mounted before executing secondary re-filters, preventing premature execution errors.
  • ⚡ Defensive Fallbacks: The catalog sorter now includes defensive fallback checks to guarantee uninterrupted item browsing under any network condition.
