🎫 Flight Status Pass & Active Order Monitor Stabilization

Based on community feedback, we investigated and completely restructured the frontend polling and modal lifecycle for the Flight Status Pass:

  • 🛡️ Anti-Crash & Modal Retention: The Flight Status Pass monitor will no longer abruptly snap shut when an order completes or while polling in the background. It stays open until you choose to dismiss it, displaying clear status indicators (DONE!, ENDED, or NO FLIGHT).
  • Adaptive Sync Interval: Polling frequency has been relaxed from aggressive 1-second intervals to a smooth 3-second cycle, cutting browser network load by over 66% while remaining virtually instantaneous.
  • 🚫 Eliminated False Rate-Limit Bans: Authenticated islanders and background status monitors now receive smart rate-limit exemptions and graceful backoff, preventing accidental IP blocks or infinite refresh loops during rapid browsing.
  • 🔄 Promise & Network Resilience: All flight monitor network calls now feature comprehensive error catch boundaries, ensuring transient network dips will never crash the dashboard.

🤖 OrderBot Airport Recovery & Dock Navigation Overhaul

Our autonomous Nintendo Switch OrderBots operate 24/7 delivering items, bells, and villagers. When visitors take longer than the allotted departure window or multiplayer sessions conclude, bots must navigate back to the Dodo Airlines counter. We have overhauled this recovery sequence:

  • 🧭 Multi-Angle Sliding Door Trajectory: In Animal Crossing, airport sliding doors are angled North-East from the dock. Bots now alternate walking trajectories across multiple approaches, ensuring the character guides smoothly through the automatic door sensor without catching on the wooden doorframe.
  • 🧠 Direct Game Memory State Synchronization: Rather than relying solely on single-pixel screen comparisons over local WiFi (which could lag or drop during screen dimming), bots now read internal overworld state transitions directly from game memory to verify airport entrance in real time.
  • 🔒 Guarded Fail-Safe State Protection: In the rare event of an unexpected physical obstruction, the bot will never attempt to teleport to indoor counter anchors while outdoors. Instead, it triggers an immediate, clean game restart back to the house, ensuring the bot remains 100% stable for subsequent orders.
